Refund Policy

Introduction

The Research Journal of Human and Social Aspects (RJHSA) strives to provide a fair and transparent process for authors submitting manuscripts for publication. This refund policy outlines the circumstances under which an author may be eligible for a partial or full refund of article processing charges (APCs).

Refund Eligibility

  • Manuscript Withdrawal Before Review: A full refund will be granted if an author withdraws their manuscript before it enters the peer-review process.
  • Editorial Rejection Due to Journal Scope: A full refund will be granted if the manuscript is rejected by the editors due to being outside the journal's scope or focus.
  • Technical Issues: In the rare case of a technical issue preventing successful submission or causing a significant delay in the editorial process due to the journal's platform, a full or partial refund may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Non-Refundable Scenarios

  • Manuscript Withdrawal After Review: Refunds will not be granted for manuscripts withdrawn after entering the peer-review process. This covers the time and effort invested by editors and reviewers.
  • Editorial Rejection Due to Quality Concerns: The journal adheres to rigorous quality standards. Refunds will not be granted for manuscripts rejected due to methodological flaws, insufficient originality, or failure to meet the journal's formatting and referencing guidelines.
  • Author Error: Refunds will not be granted for errors or omissions made by the author during the submission process.

Requesting a Refund

Authors requesting a refund should submit a written request to the journal's editorial office, clearly stating the reason for the request and, if applicable, including relevant details such as the manuscript ID number.
