Women have been struggling and fighting for their rights for many years. Recently, Pakistan witnessed the Aurat March, a political and social movement providing women with a platform to join hands and speak about issues and problems they have been going through. This demonstration hit the traditional setting and, in turn, faced backlash, death threats, and violence. This study is an effort to understand the dilemma Pakistani society is facing regarding the Aurat March. The study aims to elucidate the drastic reactions that have divided society into distinct groups. The theoretical framework applied for this research is based on feminist theory. The main focus is on Pakistani women's status and their struggle for rights. Further, to understand the existence of discriminatory beliefs regarding women, this research is conducted using the cultural paradigm.
